Robin

A crayon drawing of a dancer mid-leap, from the class flyer

The dancer on the flyer. A real photo of Robin goes here when there is one.

I am a somatic coach and a dance teacher. Both jobs come down to the same thing: helping a person notice what their body is already doing, and then giving it somewhere to go.

I trained in Hakomi, a mindfulness-based, body-centered method, and I use it one on one with people who are tired of thinking their way around something they can feel. I am a coach, not a therapist, and I say so early, because the difference matters and because the people I work with deserve to know what they are getting.

On Saturdays I teach a beginner dance class at Attack Theatre in Lawrenceville. It exists for the person who has said "I wish I knew how to dance" out loud at least once. The class is slow at the start, loud in the middle, and kind the whole way through. All bodies welcome is the rule of the room, not the tagline.

Robin: add the rest here in your own words. Where you trained, how long you have danced, what brought you to this work, anything you want people to know before they walk in. Keep it true and short. Nothing invented goes on this page.
